Earlier that day

was the bridal shower! lots of fun, I have some amazing people in my life! A couple of my bridesmaids threw it for me and everything was great, thank you ladies!!

Still Recovering

Not only was there a bridal shower this past weekend but also a bachelorette/ birthday party! It was crazy fun and I want to thank everyone that spent their saturday/sunday with me! here are some photos from the blessed event!

I was perusing the Urban Outfitters website and came across these gems. Adorable headbands that could double as some kick ass garters??? sign me up!

I am excited about our favors but I feel I need to show people just how awesome they are haha. I guess I'm worried people will open them and say "what the..." So pictures! None of these are quite like the ones we have as favors but you get the idea. Plus mustaches make me smile :)

49 days and counting

You heard right, we made it under the 50 day mark! I had my final dress fitting, the centerpieces are boxed up and ready to go, the honeymoon has been planned, the groomsmen's clothes finally fit and we've gotten at least half of the rsvps in. It's all getting very exciting!

My friend Cassie was kind enough to let me tag along to the castle for a wedding and now I'm all sorts of giddy and stressed! I can't wait...though I sometimes feel that everything is going to be horribly jumbled and make no sense.

I came across this image on Style Me Pretty today and got all giddy! These dresses look an awful lot like the ones my bridesmaids are wearing :) These are from Butter by Nadia and mine are from anthropologie but they look great! and comfy!

More on Oscar

I read of a cure online to keep typewriter ribbon going using 3-1 oil. It might get messy but will hopefully get oscar back in better working condition. Also Jake and I did get our marriage license yesterday, making us one more step closer to official. I guess I will know the honeymoon is over when I'm standing in line at the DMV and the social security offices ;)

My favorite wedding ever

I am in love with this wedding! If you get time, check out KC & Sara's blog. So creative and fun. I'm looking for alternative places to have the wedding (on the castle grounds) that aren't directly in front of the building, only because it is very concrete-y and I LOVE their ideas!

And another thing!

We've added another stop to our honeymoon itinerary...Denver! I'm pretty excited about it! The plan is now to fly to Denver stay for a few days, fly to Seattle stay for a few days again and then drive down the coast (hopefully stopping by the beach) until we reach Portland! Beautiful!

Making it (semi) official

Jake and I are going to try and get down to the courthouse today to get our marriage license! Wish us luck!

I came across this chapel by accident. It's the leaf chapel in Japan. Makes me want to build something beautiful.
